just reads this from the latest interview with rafa on the offal:

On the injury front, what can you tell us about Luis Garcia's rehabilitation?

He is progressing and doing well. He just needs time. He was with us in Barcelona and the last time I met him he seemed really happy with the way things were going.

sounds to me like Garcia is not getting his treatment in melwood and hasnt seen rafa in quite a while. maybe hes getting it back in spain

we know harry went to oz for a while when he was getting treatment

is this the norm with injured players. to they just go off for a while and entrusted to stick to a strict regime?

i thought they would have to be coming in to melwood to have their treatment administered and to hit the gym

It's fairly normal for non-British players to recover from long injuries in the home country if they choose. Garcia needed a lot of rest, he can put his feet up in Liverpool or in his home country surrounded by all his family. Also the sun increases the recovery rate.

We should have a secure unit, a processing centre where they have their passports taken off them until they can prove fitness.

Go further i'd say, punishment beatings if they cannot prove fitness within a reasonable time period.

Well if they've got nothing to hide, what is there to complain about. We've gone too far in the other direction trying to please the do gooders.

We should enter a team of injured players into lower leagues to get them playing.

Like they do in horse racing, as soon as they fall down, shoot them!!!

Any part of their body that - due to injury - they can't use, should be removed. Hence, their body as a whole would recover more quickly than the specific injured area, an area that would no longer be there.

It would stop the injury from spreading too.

I think the club should look at having a lab at Melwood where they can grow new bits of the human body on rats and sheep. As soon as a player picks up an injury they can whip the offending bit out and replace it with the newly grown body part. In the long run it cuts down on costs - we only need a small squad as there are no long term injuries.
