One for the music boffins

A friend of mine is compiling a CD for her friend's birthday. The task is create a CD set: one with big hits/ other 'classical' songs of that year, and the other with alternative, bit peculiar ones. so that would mean 62 songs! (1977-2007 x2).

So an example, one that was given to me in January:
