Fagan Posted February 6, 2007 Author Posted February 6, 2007 i think next time we score it should be high 5's all over the ground as for the mancs, lets smoke 'em out and pop a cap in their ass
Cheesecake Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 i think next time we score it should be high 5's all over the ground as for the mancs, lets smoke 'em out and pop a cap in their ass Like This?
neej Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Can anyone come up with something that mentions the fact that their ugly ginger gnome of an owner caused their club to take on huge sums of debt in order to buy them whereas ours bought us using their own cash in a catchy tune?
Cheesecake Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 (to the tune of 'he hits the ball forty yards') Steve Gerrard, Gerrard,The mancs were bought on a plastic cardGary Neville is f***ing gashand we are awash with cash. Steve Gerrard, Gerrard...
Mad_Fer_It Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Liverpool f*** Yeah HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA should honestly give it a go!
Guest Kev Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I think I'm the only one who is not totally happy about the takeover. Ah well.
Benzo-13 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I think I'm the only one who is not totally happy about the takeover. Ah well. C'mon Kev if you were happy there'd be something wrong...
Guest Kev Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 C'mon Kev if you were happy there'd be something wrong... I'm happy we've finally got the money, I'm happy that the stadium will soon be a reality. But there's a big part of me that is dispondant because it's never going to be the same....if you know what I mean.

But there's a big part of me that is dispondant because it's never going to be the same....if you know what I mean. I understand the sentiment, Kev, but I'd imagine it's unique to Liverpool fans that live in the city. Could be wrong, but I'm made up personally. Evolution.

But there's a big part of me that is dispondant because it's never going to be the same....if you know what I mean.i do but the same was said after the Kop was made all seated and it's true to a degree..... and then we had Juve, Chelsea... if their input = a new stadium & more cash for better players then i'm all for it. When all is said and done it's us, the fans, who are & who own Liverpool FC.

We've finally caught up to the modern era now but feels like we've lost a little something about us but lets see what happens..

When all is said and done it's us, the fans, who are & who own Liverpool FC. The Kop being seated never really affected me because of the reasons why it was done. I know what you mean.. The old way's are hard to let go.. We've finally caught up to the modern era now but feels like we've lost a little something about us but lets see what happens.. I agree, I'm waiting to see what happens, I don't want to go overboard about it - either way. It is I suppose an exciting time ahead, it just might be it hasn't sunk in yet - a bit like Istanbul. I understand the sentiment, Kev, but I'd imagine it's unique to Liverpool fans that live in the city. Could be wrong, but I'm made up personally. Evolution. Could be, but I doubt it. But on the other hand I suppose our American based fans feel closer to the club more than ever now.
Guest Scot Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I agree, I'm waiting to see what happens, I don't want to go overboard about it - either way. I'm the same. I'm encouraged, but I'll see what happens. I expect it to be good.
Ostrich Man Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I think I'm the only one who is not totally happy about the takeover. We have no choice though, enjoy the ride to wherever it may lead us.

Sports franchises in the US are awarded by the league on the basis of competitive bid. Like McDonalds or Starbucks they really are franchises. Neither of our clubs can be called that.
