We were flying over the christmas period. The missus had some perfume & mascara & stuff in her hand luggage, so she doffed it all into a ziploc bag - clear - as per the regulations, shows it to the guy at the X-ray machine, who says it's fine, puts it back in her bag & through the metal detector we go with her bag going through the X-ray thingy.

 

They 'detect' it, despite us having shown them.

 

They ask what it is, rescan it & then confiscate it. All was OK except she had to put it through the X-ray machine seperate to her handbag. We called them on it & they confirmed that had they gone through seperately, there wouldn't have been a problem, but because it (the placcy bag with contents) was in her handbag - even though we'd shown the c*** the feckin placcy bag - it wasn't.

 

c****, suppose that's what small-men with 'power' do.

 

Kin $100 btl of perfume she'd got for christmas binned.
