Pre-Christmas CD stockpile

[Will]

Got a few bargains today - 5 CDs for £29

John Martyn - Bless The Weather

X - Wild Gift (their second album)

V/A - The In Kraut (billed as "hip shaking grooves made in Germany 1966-1974")

Throbbing Gristle - compilation called The Taste Of TG (got rid of my TG albums many years ago, but have decided they warranted a comp at least)

Ramones - Subterranean Jungle

That adds to a little post-Charlton session that started with a treip to my favourite record shop (Stand Out!) which furnished me with a trio of 60s albums:

The Goldebriars - debut album by susnshine pop legend Curt Boettcher's 1st band

Chad & Jeremy - The Ark

The Mirage - compilation of their stuff from 66-68

Then to Rough Trade for:

Beirut album (nicely odd - not quite sure how it's their album of the year though)

Delmontes compilation (80s Scottish indiepop band)

Plenty of listening there for me...
