Question about a diet..

My flatmate wants to go on this diet.. she bought the sachets from ebay...

 

I was just wondering if anybody had heard of this diet.. I'm sure you are supposed to get checked by ya gp first...

 

Does anybody know if this is true.. and if it is dangerous to just start using it?
