the wife has lost my wigan ticket for saturday. are the club likely to replace tickets for away games, bearing in mind they come from wigan rather than our club? anyone had the same problems?

Mine has done it once..Celta Vigo at home in the UEFA Cup years ago...threw ine, my dads and two mates tickets away...swears blind she didnt but she bloody did

The club make a point of telling you that they cannot replace away CL tickets, so I assume that means they can/will replace others

Do you have the row and seat number ?

 

or

 

Do you have the details of the fan card that bought the ticket ?

 

If yes, first of all go down to the ticket office in person (if that is possible).

 

If no, phone them up and ask for a duplicate ticket to be arranged to be picked up at Wigan's ground.

 

LFC will not print duplicates for away games, but they can arrange for duplicates to be collected at the ground in question.

 

If, Liverpool are unhelpful, contact Wigan themselves.

 

But please ensure you get the names of everyone you speak to.

Would not recommend it. Local Wigan press are running with that if any away fan (Liverpool) are found in any of the sections of the ground reserved for home fans they will be thrown out. Don't have an internet link, but it comes from someone I work with who lives in Wigan and is a Liverpool fan. He is going (but no colours), but he's got a proper pie eating accent.
