I don't get how a dead leg can make someone not continue playing...

If you get a "proper" dead leg (i.e. unlike the ones we used to give each other in the school playground)

they are totally crippling. I got one in 5-a-side once, very similar to alonso's, it was bloody agony and

I could barely walk for 2 or 3 weeks. :notrelatedtoanyforummember1:

So that is a midfield of Gerrard, Gerrard, Gerrard and Gerrard this wekend then.

While on paper that does look strong, I'm sick of Gerrard been played out of positions.

What was meant to be wrong with Pennant? Hate to sound sceptical, like.

edit: read article. "Spasms" my hole.

Garcia, Gerrard, Zenden, Bellamy

Though Riise/Warnock might get a game at left mid if he doesn't want to play Bellamy there

Warnock at LB and Riise on the wing wouldn't be too bad.

Warnock is injured I think aswell as Aurelio, it'll have to be what we finished with on Wednesday or maybe Pennant right if hes fit and Garcia left

great innit, some where wondering how we'd manage to keep all these left backs and left midfielders happy. And now we have only one fit!

Yep, on the OS it says Warnock's had a groin op and Aurelio is out too.

If Pennant doesn't make it, could end up with Finnan in mid and Peltier at FB, or maybe Bellamy out there.

I think at home we should go for it. No point paying a full back at right midfield.

He went down in front of us, and I thought he was looking to come off for a while before that. He went down holding his head and then worked his way down to his leg - he'd been kicked and elbowed a few times with no protection from the ref or linesman.

Thought he looked quite good but a little lightweight.

Thought Gonzalez looked great before he went off!

Anyone think that there is any mileage in Hyppia with Agger at the back and having Carra as the holding midfield player. I think he is still the record holder for U21 caps all as a midfielder

Nah, thats just f***ing around with the defence to f*** around with the midfield. I'd just play what we finished with the other night if Pennant isnt fit

I don't want to see the defence changed at all since we have now started to keep a run of clean sheets(6 in the last 7).

At home I think we can get away with Garcia, Gerrard, Zenden and Bellamy in midfield.
