Stand up Mr Lemmy Kilmister.

Me and some mates went to see Motor Head last night to say we saw the legend Lemmy before he dies (Taking the Mrs to see Pete Doherty in December for the same reason) after all he is 60 something now apparently. It was just as entertaining looking at the people around us, old folk there from the first time round, some still in denim and leather, others now in slacks and pressed shirts, skate kids, indie kids, goth's, rocka/psycho billies, punks, hippies the lot, some real characters, but no grief just a good laugh from everybody. Back in the early to mid 80's I saw a band called Mama's Boys twice and they were the first band that made me say, "Feck me thats a lot of noise for a just three blokes". Well last night I think I heard the loudest most singular entertainment thing in the world ever, and after three songs they turned it up, then up again for the encore! Felt like the double bass drum was banging yer ear drum and lungs, the bass rattled yer ribcage, and the guitar was just a wall of distortion. All in all I am now virtually deaf and and have a rumbling in my ears, it was so loud I can't even hear the tinitus.

However I have seen the Lemster wailing Ace of Spades, Killed by Death and Over Kill live so it was all worth it, it was worth just for Ace of Spades to be honest, the place went mental, but today I can see the Mrs lips move, though no real sound eminating from them....
