Thought I'd start a thread as many will be interested in these. I have to say I'm extremely worried that Republican dirty tricks will have a significant impact. There are stories of voter intimidation and disinformation coming in from many states, and I expect those that do get to the polls will face more intimidation there. If they make it through that they get to vote on crooked electronic machines, or on paper ballots that might never get counted.

 

I'm expecting a total mess today - hope the Democrats have plenty of lawyers on standby.

 

PS - A CSPAN caller just said that she wasn't going to vote, but when she heard that John Kerry had belittled the troops she felt she had to go out and vote republican. Also blamed liberals for American deaths in Iraq. These people can vote but I can't - life ain't fair.
