Ok, it wasn't the best atmosphere ever and YNWA being played early kind of skewed things but we let everyone know where our bread is buttered. Lots of songs again for Stevie and Rafa who have been under the microscope unnecessarilly this week, and it was nice to hear most players names sang during the game rather than just before.

Also credit to the Bordeaux fans for their holding aloft of scarfs during YNWA after the whistle. You were a good lot and your applause at the end and our reciprocal gesture is what makes european nights special to me.

Oh, and a tip for those fans who leave with minutes to spare so they can beat the traffic. Go and have an ale after the match, meet other fans, and enjoy the local atmosphere. Park on the docks or summat and pay a few more quid on getting a taxi to the ground. Chances are not only will you see the heart of anfield, the history that adorns most of the pubs walls and ceilings, but you'll also avoid the congestion, get on the m62 when it's clear and have a nice drive home having avoided not just the jams but the phone-ins.

Oh, and in case I forgot to mention - you'll get to see how special Anfield and YNWA is to opposing teams once the battle is over.

yeah, it would be nice if the whole crowd could clap the team off, and then the whole crowd could have shared the love in with the Bordeaux fans.

Away European fans are boss.

Agree with that Spike - Bordeaux fans were very good.

I also have a tip for those who leave early; f*ck off and give your ticket to someone else.

Its their ticket, they can do what they like. I don't leave early but thats because I don't get over much and want to enjoy every minute of it. I would bet that those that leave early are the ones that take it for granted...you know...regulars...that live nearby...with scouse accents...that want to get to the pub...

ducks and watches the locals get all hot and bothered

Only joking,la :)

I thought the Bordeaux fans were poo, didn't they boo off one of their own players?

they had a song to the tune of Yellow Submarine

And they all bounced in unison

What more do you want?

Makes a change from sign on, easy and shall we sing a song for you, which is most of the repertoire from most English clubs.

Anyone leaving early fully deserves abuse if for nothing else than making you miss the fecking game while they are pissing around standing up and annoying the f*** out of everyone

If I ran the club I'd take the seat numbers of season ticket holders that consistently left early and then refuse to offer a reissue the season after for them.

I hate people that leave early, especially the ones that leave early at half time and as they walk past they suddenly stop and watch an excitng it of play IN FRONT OF ME. I had one daft cow stop and start to text someone, AARRGGHH. The daft cow that left early for a cuppa before half time against Reading last week missed two of the three goals, it's crazy. (I must point out that it is not just women that leave early)
