The worst assistan referee decision thru all times

Doesn't f***ing matter a s****. We were easily as clueless as the lino.

We didn't deserve to win, not at all, but bolton certainly didn't. A fair result would have been a draw, but the linesman had other ideas, the second goal was on the break after we threw everything forward trying to atone for his error.

What was his name?

FFS? Chasing a game your 1-0 down in with 40 minutes to go? My a***.

Why will people not accept that Rafa got it wrong AGAIN. He got it wrong against Sheffield Utd and he got it wrong against Everton. Crouch should have started and you should not be continually changing your back line as they need to have confidence in each other.

An abysmal decision that goes with 2 abysmal penaly decisions at Woodison and 1 abysmal penalty decision at Chelski.

How many times have we hit the post this season?

Each away game that we have lost we have created far, far more chances than the home side, 2-13 today, 3-24 at woodison, more than Cheslki, etc.

We are not getting the rub of the green, full stop, completely full stop.

It was a poor decision but its one that's been coming, as more than one poster on here has predicted previously.

Reina continually runs the risk of something like this happening and the one thing you want to avoid at the Reebok is giving away soft free-kicks around the box.

Always someone elses fault, yes wrong decision, but we where clueless today, to many changes again.

Whatever the doom and gloom merchants on here say, we were 2 down at goodison and well on top of the game and hibbert pushed the ball out of play 5 yards from Poll.

We were 1 down at Chelsea and Lampard pushed Gerrard to the ground in clear view of the ref.

We were goaless today and an incorrect decision led to them scoring. Campo pushed Kuyt, and I have seen them given. You only have to remember Jeffers and Riise at Arsenal a few years ago to see what constitutes a penalty.

I actually think some people need to analise the performance in their own mind. Too many fans are influenced by radio phone ins, TV presenters whose opinion changes from one second to the next.

Clear examples when we had Houllier in charge everyone said 'theyve got no width'

Last season it was 'Zonal marking', when Cheslea conceded more goals then us from corners last year.

This year the bandwagon has a big sign on it 'To much changing'

I analiysed what I saw, as you dont! Kuyt was`nt fouled he stopped in Campo`s run, oh and I dont listen to talk ins, have better things to do

than listen to them morons, but as you say things did`nt run for us, BUT we where not good enough to break them down & our defence was terrible, as to much changing going on, but still love the guy. ;)

Actually your right. Lets just keep doing what we're doing. I'm fairly sure we'll make 43 points by May and will be sure of staying up.

Do you not think that it's not "bandwagon" but the actual reason why we have dropped so many points? Open your eyes. g*******.

Is it the actual reason though? Why is suddenly THE reason after two seasons and 80 odd games.

No, more likely when things go wrong, anyone can point to something that makes them look like they know what they're talking about, and others will follow.

Rafa won the Spanish league twice playing with this rotation policy. So he's wrong all of a sudden?

No he didn't, and people constantly saying that he did doesn't make it true. Rafa did not continually drop his highest scoring striker for a player who can't find the net for love nor money. He also did not continually change his defence when his players were fit. He always had a fixed defence which knew each other and covered each other well. Now only Finan is guaranteed his place and we are conceeding. Christ, even with us last year we always had a set defence (barring injury) and that's what brought us on the great run to Istanbul and to Cardiff last season.

Ranieri spent £100m and somehow managed not to win the league playing this way

It may yet work, but because it worked in La Liga doesn't mean it will work here.

They caught us on the break, doesn't matter whether it is in the first or last minute, it is a fact that we had to change our system after going a goal down.

Maybe, and I know it's only a slight possibility, but just maybe because Rafa knows inifinitely more about football and how to win trophies than you ever will?

Just a guess like.

The decision for that free kick was shocking.

Not as bad as the six totally dodgy offsides once we were through

If we'd finished 1/3 of those we would have come in level.

How f***ing hard can it be to be a competant linesman?!

It was a poor performance from us, but without that linesman we would have draw that match.

It's decisions like this when I seriously question the integrity of the officials. Look at Poll in the derby, poor decision after poor decision, but I can at least comprehend them, you can miss a foul, you can misjudge an offside, you can be intimidated by the crowd, you can feel you've given too many decisions to one side and therefore let another go, it's human nature.

Today is just not excusable in any way, he gave a decision that no-one, not even the crowd claimed (and they were shouting for everything) it wasn't close, at least a metre inside the box, and it was the kind of offence that you so rarely see given, you would have to be 100% sure. I just can't see how that can be an honest mistake?

I would like to believe the English game is clean, but the Italians, Germans and French have had their corruption scandals in the past so why should ours be free of it? There is more money in ours than anywhere else but we never see any measures to ensure it's integrity.

Totally agree, too many strange decisions in the last 5 seasons and not just against us , across all the games.

I don't think its organised to the level of the italian scandal, probally at a lower level, certain games probally targeted, refs and linesmen can be incompetant but not for this long a period ,(5 plus years) , its stinks to high heaven.... sorry to say it but it does. We have had some dodgy transfer deals plus v.strange refreeing in the last few years, you can ignore so long but as conan doyle after all other possibilities have been ruled out the one that remains must be the truth. If the premier league don't investigate this match then they are worthless.

You mean he did it because he wanted a bit attention?

I don't want to believe our refs are corrupt, but I just can't understand how that mistake can be made without some intent on the linesmans behalf. As I said in the match thread his positioning, though crap was actually the wrong side of the penalty line for it to justify a misjudgment. It would have made it look like Pepe was further inside the box than he was, if anything.
