I wish he'd just concentrate on what he's supposed to do and not run around all over the park.

Yep how dare he stop Chelsea scoring a goal or go and get the ball of their full back and whip in some crosses. He should just let them score or let the right back attack with the ball instead.

Maybe if Bellemy did a bit of work

Try watching the game

I think he's got all the attributes we hoped for in Morientes but never got.

His shot 1st half was great but unlucky.

His miss 2nd half was just pressure to score his 1st goal, under pressure 1-0 down late away.

when he scores his first goal I think he'll fly, and go on a good run.

Think we'll see Fowler & Crouch on Wednesday, but I'd be tempted to play Crouch & Kuyt.

I did. Bellemy needs to concentrate more on the game. was poor today.

You should try understanding the game.

The one thing you can't label at Bellamy is that he doesn't work hard. He worked his socks off again today without much reward. Maybe when someone gets around to setting him up with a decent chance we'll see more goals from him too.

And at least spell his name right.

Kind of agree. Its alright running everywhere if you have a midfielder willing to go beyond the striker but we dont so Id prefer to see him stick to being a forward

It would be a problem if Kuyt wasn't up there when we needed him, but he was the one who was involved in most of our chances, so I don't see how anyone can complain. The problem many had with Heskey was that he was back defending which was great, but he wouldn't be in the box where he was needed. Kuyt doesn't appear to tire!

He probably does do too much 'work for the team' at the moment. He needs to start doing it in the right areas and make sure he gets on the end of moves.

Exactly my point.

I reckon it's the fact that both Bellamy and Kuyt are so mobile and running around a lot that there's no one in the area ready to latch onto the balls. I think Crouch with Bellamy or Kuyt might be the better option, or Kuyt and Bellamy need to harmonise their positioning.

But he was getting on the end of moves so there is no point.

Not on all of them, strikers have to offer themselves as an outlet on the front line. I think he's great but I also think he's putting in to much work outside of his 'area'.

But that's how he was for feyenord

Lower standard of football, he's come up a notch or two and needs to concentrate on being a forward and let the others worry about their game.

Saying that, I bet he scores against the team that nearly signed him ;)
