Constructive Dismissal?

My boss has just given her notice after 15 years with the company to take up a more satisfying position in a different industry.


Her boss (a director) is now insisting she fulfills the full three month term of notice despite her involvment in the current project only lasting a further month. In other words the business will not be adversely impacted in any way if she leaves after a month.


Is there a site or some legal eagle on her that can clarify her position on this- she obviously and fairly (after serving that long) wants to move on ASAP...
