BBC 10 o'clock news last night

OK, so we had a piece from a journo sent to the location telling us all about "terrified" british holidaymakers who were caught in a forest fire. They "spent the night on the beach" (not according to the bloke Radio 4 interviewed in the morning - they went to the rooms before 3am). Holiday ruined etc in a three or four minute filmed segment

This was followed, almost as an "in other news"... "151 people died today in a plane crash outside Donetsk. The pilot reported bad turbulence as he was coming into land"

Now forgive me, but isn't 151 people dying more newsworthy (if there is such a thing) than some brummies having their holiday inconvenienced? Not to mention the local Greeks whose businesses, homes and livelihoods have gone up in smoke.

Are these unpeople too?
