It doesn't matter he's off and pretty soon _ sky sports :

Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse claims three French clubs are chasing his signature.

The Frenchman revealed Lyon, Marseille and Paris Saint Germain are keeping tabs on him

Cisse's future at Anfield has been the subject of intense speculation for some time as he struggled to hold down a regular place in Rafa Benitez's plans.

Benitez is thought to be in the market for new strikers as his side struggled for goals last term and he has already offloaded Fernando Morientes to Valencia in a bid to raise some funds.

Cisse came close to leaving Liverpool last January before he eventually decided to stay on Merseyside.

The former Auxerre man has warned Liverpool he will not endure another frustrating season like last term and that he wants his future resolved before the World Cup finals get underway next month.

"I won't play another season like this with (Rafael) Benitez," Cisse told Football365.

"I want everything to be arranged before the World Cup, in order to be 100 percent focused on my football.

"I am in contact with PSG, Lyon and there is also a link with Olympique Marseille."

CLAIREFONTAINE, France (AP) -Djibril Cisse said he felt unwanted by Liverpool coach Rafa Benitez and would like to play for Gerard Houllier at Lyon.

Houllier helped get Cisse to Liverpool from Auxerre, but the coach left the English club shortly before Cisse signed in July 2004.

"Mr. Houllier signed me for Liverpool, and I never had the chance to work with him,'' Cisse said Sunday. "Now I have a coach who doesn't want me. Benitez doesn't use me, so I've taken a step back. I was sad that Houllier left.''

Cisse, who is training for the World Cup with France's national team, has scored 24 goals in 78 appearances for Liverpool, including a goal in the FA Cup final win over West Ham.

"I love Liverpool, but I don't have the confidence of the coach,'' Cisse said. "He doesn't like me. That is his right. You can't be please everyone. But I don't think I could stand another season like the one I've just had.''

Cisse said he was even willing to take a pay cut to join Lyon - either on loan or in a permanent move - or Marseille.

"Financially you have to make some sacrifices, and I'm ready to make them,'' Cisse said. "My heart leans to Marseille, but Lyon plays in the Champions League and is a more stable club.''

Cisse said Liverpool blocked a move to Marseille last December.

"Liverpool refused to let me go. I got a lot of hate mail on my Internet site from Marseille fans, because they thought it was my fault,'' said Cisse, who added that he has also been contacted by Paris Saint-Germain but did not want to join the club.

Well in Djib. I wish more strikers wanted their future sorted sooner rather than later

I hope he gets the move he wants

How many goals did Stevie G get. The formula is simple you take out he goals which weren't against good teams, the penalties, the goals which may have been a bit lucky, the goals where he hit it too hard, the goals where he hit it too soft, the goals which were good because he probably didn't mean them, the goals with his wrong foot, the goals in games over the Lent period and the goals he scored where the ball went past the keeper into the goal and the ref allowed it.

Have i missed any criteria out

You missed the goals he scored in games we had already won anyway.

I know I can line the cat litter tray

Be worth a fortune in a few years time.

Stick it on Ebay - some mug will buy it.

Or wear it ironically and be the coolest cat on the block.
