As an aside, this is a myth. A study determined that teams were no more likely to concede a goal just after scoring themselves than at any other time. Of course that doesn't mean that managers don't think that's the case.

I think that's overstating the case somewhat, but to be fair there are times he leaves you shaking your head. Defensively he can be woeful. Thought Darby had a decent enough game - defended intelligently without doing anything spectacular. Although I take the point that was made earlier that he didn't have McAnuf flying at him like Insua did.
