I actually think Ramsay is going to start on Day 1. I also think at some point in the game, Chambers will come in for Virgil as he is just back in training

Leads me to think that the club believes Ramsay and Chambers are good enough for now at RB and CB? And the youngsters will be used for rotation given that games are coming thick and fast?

My guess is that in addition, Nyoni, Chambers and Ramsay are likely to make it to the day 1 squad.. Ramsay, for some reason, doesn't seem to be in favour here but I think defensively he seems better than Frimpong. Chambers may stand in for left CB/back back up option as he seems to have done well at CAFC and seems to have done well yesterday.

I think we will find ourselves priced out, to for Barcola. I think we will go in for Conceicao who can play on the right. We may buy an RB and if Ramsay does well over the next few games, then we will probably only target a CB who can cover RB. Actually, given our spends over the last 2 years with very little inflows from sales, I am not very confident we will buy anyone for a huge fee unless someone is sold.

I am going with the assumption that we will not sign anyone till Iraola has a decent look at the squad. And then we will look very desperate as the transfer deadline will approach us fast. I have a feeling that the team for the first couple of games will be from the squad on the current tour of the US

Why is no one rating Ramsay? Under Slot, he didn't even get a chance. I am sure, we saw something in him. It will be tragic if we don't give Ramsay and Bajcetic a chance to show what they can do. I can understand the CB and wide forwards part, through I would give Elliott a go on the right...

My guess is that we will start the season with Gakpo/Rio. Isak. Elliot MacAllister. Wirtz. Szoboszlai/Frimpong Kergez. Van Dijk. Jacquet. Gomez/Bradley Cupboard looks bare beyond that. Maybe missing a few but to me,this is what it looks like..

I have a feeling that we will not do any major signings till Iraola has some sessions with the team..he probably already has a view of what he wants to do given that he has seen a good lot of our players..if he can give youngsters at Bournemouth a chance, there is a good possibility he will do the same here before he decides the next steps..but he may not get the time through..

I don't post much but have been following the Isak saga. I still believe that there is a possibility that this may not go through. Would love Nunez to bang in 20 goals this season. Given the quality of players around him, you never know, it may happen.

What is the issue with Robinson? At one point highly thought off, was the youngest player ever to play for us in the league, seems to be back from loan. Given we already have Enrique and Fla as backup if required, can we not persist with Robinson for one more season?
