Keane is on the bench, just seen him running round warming up, he is clearly fit. As is Alonso who is on the bench.

Expected changes, Mascherano in for one, but to leave a player out who has finally found a bit of form is very odd - especially considering who is has brought in as his replacement.

But we have a chance to win the league THIS season, we need to make the best of the situation we are in now. If we a short of cash but Heskey could have an impact on this season we need to go for it. Even if he ends up being worth 6 points come May it might be worth it. -

and if we can flog Pennant and bring in Heskey as effectively a "swap" I think we a getting a decent deal. I certainly think Heskey is worth a place in the squad over Pennant despite them playing in different positions. -
