Taking into account that the guy has barely played a competitive match in 5 months it was a 'to be expected' performance. Tidy on the ball, sharp short passing game....he clearly tired near the end of the game when he gave away 2-3 sloppy passes. See him after another month of football and we should start to see some of his class coming through.

Top read and a top top lad. He just doesnt seem to have that arrogance and ego driven attitude that so many footballers have. Hard to believe for someone so talented to be so level headed.

Could end up being one of Rafa's best signings. His so composed and calm on the ball...there's madness going on around him and he just plays the easy pass to feet. An invaluable addition

Barca sld do United. If United come up against a team that plays good attacking football they will go down....we all saw Milan tear them apart....Roma had some decent chances last night that they didnt put away. I doubt henry,eto, messi (if fit) will miss the same chances. Ronaldinho will most likely be fit for united as well...you can never right him off. Barca have to much class and since the league seems to be gone for them niow they'll be solely focusing on europe.

Agreed I think the most we should even consider paying for bently would be 6-7mill tops. Thats how much he's worth. If they want more we're better off looking elsewhere. Its a known fact that homegrown English players prices are inflated 2 fold when they're selling. Its why Wenger/Benitez are usually not stupid enough to buy them when they can get equal quality for less elsewhere in Europe. Id be surprised if Rafa still goes for him if/when Blackburn hike his price up. Ronaldinho is not a defensive player, nor should he be expected to defend in any way. Let him do what he does best

Quaresma would be a poor option.....Not even in the same league as Cristiano Ronaldo...can't believe anyone on here can say any different. He doesnt score goals and he doesnt have an eye for goal. He's highest goal scoring season was last season...he nabbed 6 goals. From what Ive seen of him he has a lot of tricks..but he offers little end product.

I have no idea why his been dropped. Poor training form/attitude?? perhaps......but can you tell me Kuyt would be a stronger performer at RM then benayoun?? I think youssi should have been RM for a long time...but he just doesnt fit into Rafa's system. Kuyt is alot stronger in the defensive side of things...and he'll work harder/run more then Benayoun

I think he's been a fantastic signing. He's our 3rd highest goal-scorer and he has hardly played at all. Since mid January he's barely started any games at all. Could have had more goals if played

Still think he's the best left footed left sided player we have at the moment. Babel has been a fine performer...but he can hardly cross a ball in with his left....until a suitable replacement is found (maybe rafa has one in mind already??) kewell should be considered to be offered a new deal. Possibly a pay-per-play package. Its obvious he needs a large wage decrease from what he's on now.

Benayoun???? would be crazy to let him go

IMO we should forget abgonlahor and look at Ashley Young! A far better player and talent. We should be looking at him alot more before even thinking of abgonlahor.
