Can I (like others before me) say one thing... Rafa does not rotate the main positions!!!! How loud do I have to say it before people realise that he only rotates the positions that are not set in stone by the players who are competing for those f***ing places. we are in a bad place and this is exactly when the real supporters show themselves. It'snot like religion and faith... I would be delighted to hear of his return. I admit that I've no idea exactly how good he is or how well he fitted in etc etc... however, I think things have fallen apart a bit since he left... for more than one reason I'm sure but I would think he'd have sometihng to do with it.

But are we interested in a shrewd businessman? Well... as it stands now, yes I would think... as he would hopefully be more professional about his busniess than Hicks has been so far. However, we need serious investment. I'm not sure we'd be good value for money.... not until we get that stadium started at least.

It's only a small break though in fairness. The Kop still holds 5k more people or something? anyway, I can't wait for this ... I also agree that this stadium design looks the better for atmospheric purposes... it'll be hilarious when the place has 71k supports in there singin away.

Most clubs have debt. valencia have almost 200 million euro debt hanging over them at the moment... however they don't have a flashy new new stadium to look forward to and that will pay that debt off. Would you prefer we didn't sign the likes of Mascherano and saved ourselves that little extra bit of debt? So by the time we get into our new stadium we'd be sitting in mid table with no possibility of even qualifying for the CL?

it is amazing that people slate Rafa's ability to sign quality when he really has outdone himself in the last year. The players mentioned plus mascherano about to sign for us on a perminent basis. he is a player who like Torres , was wanted by other clubs with more buying power and general draw than ourselves (hate to say it but it's true.), however mascherano choose liverpool and will hopefully choose to stay in the next few days. there is light at the end of the tunnel perhaps.

Torres : exceeded the already massive expectations. Babel : Bang on about him.. can go missing but certainly has shown huge potential. Benayoun : I think he's been great. gets a lot of undeserved stick.. if it wasnt for his 2 hatricks then people would be slating him endlessly. Lucas : I was more hopeful rather than awed by him since his move here but that goal he scored certainly shows a great deal of potential. I'm excited by the prospect of this guy learning from Gerrard and maybe mascherano and Alonso too. Wow, if anyone wanted to learn how to be a central midfielder... liverpool is the club to come to!
