I had to get a ticket in the away end for the Arsenal game and what was really amazing was just how much a racket the crowd makes when it gets going. The loudest it got was just after Luis' goal and the noise coming off the Kop being funnelled down to the away end was phenomenal, almost physical. As I usually sit in the Main Stand, or occasionally the Kop, I'd never appreciated the sonic battering that the oppo can get and it might pass a lot of people by too, unless you sit in the Anny Road end.

I was in with the Arsenal crowd and had about as clear and as close a view as you could have of the incident. It was never in a million years a penalty - as evidenced by the fact that not one of our players even tried to claim it. Poll got that badly wrong.

He was ok. He put in the same 5/10 performance that the others put in (apart from Kewell, who shaded a 6) - just looked good because he generally puts in a 3/10 performance.
