Is it just me (well I know it's not but anyone else on here) that thinks we should drop Gerrard when Torres gets back. We need Mascherano, Alonso has been in great form and the Keane/Torres partnership needs a chance. He's looked poor lately and did again last night, I think dropping him would make Keane play better and playing with Torres would also improve Keane. Out of the possibilities for Torres to replace; Alonso, Mascherano, Reira, Kuyt, Gerrard and Keane, I think Gerrard has been the worst performer so far this season. Playing him on the right is an option but I wouldn't want to go down the dropping Kuyt route around here. Good peno though.

Indeed. I'm actually starting to think it was the right decision. The ref' asked him to do something and he did the complete opposite. It would have annoyed me as well being the referee.

He didn't need to scream in all fairness. I was half sarcastic in appealing for a penalty but the replays suggest it's a 50/50 decision in my opinion.

He was much better than Dirk. I honestly think people who have him in the top 3 can't have seen the game.

Steve Finnan was one of the best crossers in our team, in about 60 reserve games I've never seen Darby get a cross into the air. He is nothing like Finnan.

Darby couldn't get the better of me in all honesty. He can't pass or cross and is fairly slow. Can't possibly make it as a premiership full back. So many ressies should, and I expect will, get a chance before him.
