Yeah i was a bit harsh on old Salif there. Think santa cruz was for mark hughes, same with robinho approximately. Boateng was sold for about the same as they bought him. But I guess the point is that they seem to have gotten better since this guy took over.

Although it may seem easy to shop for man city, they have finally managed to build a cohesive and appropriately deep first team which is what won them the premiership. Partly that is credit to the manager, but he's been helped out by his scouting and recruiting team. So he sounds like a good hire. I'm assuming they went through a similar interview process with this lot as they did with the manager.
