  1. When thinking about Momo Sissoko, there is something we all should be aware of:
  2. Anyone is a gamble except for that portuguese f***head, and I don't want him anywhere near my club. Victory isn't worth that much.
  3. I will eat my shoe, werner herzog style, if we get pep. And happily.
  4. Seems possible.
  5. I'm literally angry with rage.
  6. It's full of typos... sloppy f*****
  7. It's possible, but I wouldn't have thought that Smith could be that funny.
  8. They're right though. We do need to score more. A lot more.
  9. The guy who told you we were signing Hendo or the guy who told you Andy had a hair cut?
  10. I'm not concerned about the fame of our new manager, I'm only concerned about their ability. I think it's a mistake that the owners aren't talking to Rafa, but I'm not sure he's the best candidate out there (which doesn't mean I think he's not either if you get my meaning). If the structure is to have a brilliant coach (i.e. not a "manager") looking after the players and tactics then someone like Rodgers, who has proved that he get a lot out of otherwise average players, is a good choice.
  11. Of course not, but he's a good manager. I'd much rather him than martinez or avb if they are the options available. True, but Swansea beat us convincingly with players of much lower quality (or at least price). Man for man I think we have better players in every position, barring downing. But they still dominated us.
  12. Was everyone not watching when Swansea dominated us twice this season?
  13. I can see downing in tears on the first day of school.
  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Emenalo He puts the "Yes man" in Yes Man.
  15. Gerrard as sweeper?
  16. What interested me about that was Porto's ability to open up teams. That's something that's been sorely missing from us for a number of years. Although they're so widen open at the back it made my pants a little browner.
  17. Really? That seems a little duplicitous. They're trying to hire the new manager the right way. Not sure that I agree with their list of candidates, but the process seems right to me.
  18. A lot of the games this season, teams have just sat deep and waited, knowing that we're useless against two banks of 4 e.g west brom. But we also have struggled when teams pressed. But i think part of the problem is to get the best out of Andy we need to cross from deeper so the opposition hasn't had time to put 4 people around him. Or we could put more people in the box to cross to... Anyway, basically we've been very predictable and easy to defend against.
  19. The financial constraints that are affecting arsenal (who have a successful youth system) suggest that we would be wiser to buy players.
  20. I get your point and kind of agree, but what were they going to say "Actually we think he's been dismal and we're going to sack him, but at the end of the season as we don't want to make changes when there is still a cup final to play for."
  21. In fairness, I hear your cat's pretty boss at football manager.
  22. Dunkin Jenkins has an impressive grasp of the england langauge
