Keeping Gakpo and getting Sarr would actually be quite a result. I’m sure they will both somehow wake up at Cobham tomorrow morning.

Chelsea seem to be doing the thing with senior players that they've been doing with youth team players for the last 15 years. Buy all the best ones, the value will stay high even if they never play. In fact sometimes the value stays higher if nobody sees them than if they play and are garbage like that Mud lad.

Yeah he’s good. Will be good for us. I’m more concerned that palace won’t sell and we will end up with nobody when the music stops.

Mama is awful so it’s good he’s getting chased. We’ve messed up there though, signing him in the first place, waiting a year to get him (please never do that with anyone again), then deciding to jib him about an hour before the window shuts.

We are obviously desperate to sell him. The club has made all the noises on this, the player has remained fully professional and quiet.

Yeah he’s alright. We should be aiming to have better players than him. I thought the same about Diaz, I’m maybe wrong on both counts. I’m just saying I’m not going to be crying if Gakpo ends up somewhere else. He’s never really been a Liverpool quality forward.

Gakpo is the last of the frontline of old / injured / crabs from 23/24. There were reasons to get rid of any and all of them then, still all applies now. So I won’t moan if he’s shipped out. Our issue is clearly managing to replace him and the other unwanted lads with quality and quantity.

Without the Klopp factor (even with it sometimes) we have rarely managed to win any transfer battles with them.

I reckon TAA will have a couple of high profile moves to English clubs, neither of which will be us, despite him flashing his knickers at us non stop. He will end up being roundly disliked, by us and the fans of the clubs he ends up at. It’s the Michael Owen story.
