    Well, last year the deal collapsed as we were a couple of million short of their valuation. And we're reported to have competition from Barcelona and Real Madrid. If their chairman believes he can sell him for 18 million he'd be unwise to accept a 15 million offer.

    It's like last summer and Simao all over. You can't blame the Seville chairman for getting the maximum from the deal. Especially as we're reported to have competition in signing him.

    Jeez. He's only 26 yet got close to 80 caps and scored in about half of those. One of Englands best players and most consisten performers. He's only played about 2 half games this year so he's not properly match fit. Yet he's past it.
