I didn't mention Finnan by the way. Will be really sad to see him leave. Been one of our most consistent performers the last few years and one of the best defenders in the league. Especially sad to see him go if Degen continues to have injury problems and Arbeloa might be heading back in the near future.

If Keane ever did start out on the right or left, I'd think there would be a fair amount of interchanging between him, Torres and Stevie (just like Utd with Rooney, Tevez and Ronaldo). Would hate it if he was stuck there for the whole match. Nowhere near being his best position.

If we didn't sell Alonso and didn't bring in Barry and just spent the summer bringing in Dossena, Degen, Keane, Cavalieri and N'gog what would our net spend be? £10-15m? F*cking Hicks and Gillett need to f*ck off right now. Pathetic.

From Gedo on RAWK (who was spot on with the Dossena signing but having a wedding on the weekend stuff): Just got a call from a mate(not me usual source) Keane booked into a Top Liverpool City Centre Hotel,don't know why,but I'm a bit Skeptical,can't see it myself,especially after Tottenham "kicking off"
