I agree. I hope he goes after Evra and the FA for defamation. In addition I'm sure the club will appeal this and if this farce is upheld will appeal to the CAS or other impartial body which is the last thing the FA will want.
If that's the case, why not just come out with a guilty verdict and a wopping big ban. Suarez branded a racist, Liverpool efforts are focussed on an appeal and defending a racist. Result for FA and Mancs. Even when its overturned on appeal, the damage is long done. Or am I being far too simple here?
Think he'll get off or a fine on the racism charge, get 2 games for the abusive language charge and probably another 1 and a fine for the Fulham antics. Just can't see that they can let him off even if there is no evidence. Sadly, its just going to encourage Evra to continue his despicable track record of accusing all and sundry of racism.
I've been wondering about this, if this little scene happened, as alleged now by both Winter and Taylor, did Marriner not react at all? Is it possible he sa nothing the exchange? If so, I can't believe the FA have even proceeded to this stage.
