Yes. I can't now see any other alternative to moving on in the summer. 'cos the alternative is giving him an extension which would be mind-blowingly daft at this point.

Diaz's dad was agitating for a move to Barca whilst he was a guest of the club after his kidnapping. That move was utterly inevitable. And pretty sure most weren't questioning upgrading Tsimi with one of the best young LBs in the league in the summer. The only move I'm still not sure about is Isak - hugely talented player but £120m is a s***-ton of money for someone with his injury history. Hopefully we'll see the best of him next season when he hasn't had a transfer saga hanging over him. That it's not worked out for a lot of the moves so far is largely (IMO) on Slot and his tactics and the way he's trying to shoe-horn players into a setup that doesn't get the best out of them. I think the best chance of them coming good is with someone that will make those changes.

Hand was forced on most of it. Trent f***ed off on a free Diaz forced a move Nunez wasn't up to it. Tsimi wasn't up to it and Robbo's not getting any younger. And there was a tragedy.

We went into the season with 4CBs and almost signed a 5th. Leoni getting a season ender in his first game was something no-one expected - Gomez fitness not being reliable unfortunately was I don't think we had that for most of the Klopp era. It was 1 decent one on the bench most years, 2 if we were lucky.

No it's not faint praise, he was one of a few that was genuinely good today. The stuff he does isn't flashy, but it's the glue that's holding any coherent moves we're making together. Always available as an outlet and making lots of good passes to bring others into space.

Was one of our best players. Once again all the joined up attacking stuff was going through him & I knew we probably weren't gonna get anything when he went off. Dreadful choice of sub.

Yup - had a 15 min spell where we played with pace and caused them all sorts of problems. Frimpong's tearing his fullback a new one - we should be using that option way more and actually giving him support runners.

Would count as a U21 player in the PL this season, but not in the CL - so we'd probably have to deregister someone. And by someone I mean Chiesa
