Well if he's not happy here then he's not going to be in a hurry to ever come back even with or without a buy back clause ,we sent Alou diarra out on loan didn't we and he just refused to come back .So the money we make on selling a promising youngster will pale into insignificance if he goes on to develop into a top class player ,we will miss out big time then. That is unless a buy back clause can force a player to come back ,if it can't its pointless in them circumstances I would have thought.

I have enjoyed watching Spain, they play good football ,Xabi Alonso has been a joy to watch as usual ,England must wish they had someone like him. you sven would probably play out of position so it would be a waste anyway.

I watched the england game and just wasn't arsed ,in the end I wanted ecuador to score to make it more exciting ,I was even pissed off beckham scored cos the thought ran through my head of another 4 years of beckham living off the back of one goal. I never used to be this cynical ,it must be age ,but I just can't cheer for england anymore like I used to. Liverpool everytime for me I can support all the players ,for england I hate most of them and I just can't change that mindset.
