The great Pat Dolan, always comes out with master statements like, doesn't know why Shelvey was signed, Torres does not want to be with Liverpool, Carragher has been a joke in the premiership for the last few years
-
yet there were some audible boos, there is no way we should be behind, birmingham don't deserve to be anywhere near us. I don't think there was anyone deserving of a boo

Yep, very poor, Simon taken off at half time, neither Nemeth or Gulacsi covered themselves in glory. But, I hope honduras are hopped off in their next game and every game each individual player plays. They are the most disgustingly cynical team I have ever witnessed. Diving, feigning injury, time wasting. Almost everything that is wrong about football at this moment was displayed in abundance by that horrible bunch of fuppers. It finished 3-0 to honduras, I didn't see the first but the second and third were quality.

Bouzanis started and seemed to do ok. Hungary are one down in their game and Simon has been booked
-
Gulacsi, Simon & Nemeth all starting. Could be worth a look. Sorry if already up but I didn't see anything

Here's a new one to me, don't really know the site but hell, it's a rumour!! Liverpool to bid for Spanish left-back
-
Ins Hangeland - Anfield boss Rafa Benitez has made enquiries about the 6ft 5in Norway captain (People) Glen Johnson - Liverpool are closing in on Portsmouth fullback Glen Johnson - (Daily Mail) Outs Pennant - Wigan Athletic and Hull City are interested in signing the former Arsenal and Birmingham City player. (The Times) It's about time someone started one of these, I was begining to think that there was some unwritten rule going around the Liverpool forums, normally every forum would be buzzing with the transfer speculation threads. * remember, I'm just copying and pasting what's in the press or on websites, I am not responsible for the news (or unsubstantiated rumour)

Would it be Torrae?

It's a shame, I don't think he's cost us a goal or a point. I could see the frustration on Saturday as he made run after run beyond Keane, who would inevitably cut inside towards defenders. I would like to hear what his teamates think of him

I am a bit baffled by the amount of stick Dossena is getting - s***, lazy, etc. I don't get it, I haven't seen this at all. Riera, was slated before joining but is now (rightfully) being cut some slack, encouraged with calls that he would do better with Aurelio (or Agger) playing beind. Why can this 'generosity' be afforded to Dossena? I haven't seen him as s***, definitely not lazy. I can't have been the only one who noticed his constant overlapping runs, getting beyond Keane, not just Riera. As far as I am aware, Rafa bought him to add a balanced level of width with both full backs capable of making these runs, he made the runs but Keane never picked him out. His crossing has been a bit hit and miss, but the quality is definitely there. One other consideration is that our primary strikers have been lacking confidence which is visibly effecting their attacking runs. Give him a chance, ffs

No worries, I can't see De Rossi moving myself. He's a good player who I think has taken over from Gattuso in the centre of the Italian midfield, except he WILL get goals.
-
Hadn't seen this anywhere, Yossi to Roma. Could this tie in with the spurious De Rossi as an alternative to Barry links?
-
In all the friendlies played so far Stephen Darby has done well, maybe Rafa is ready to let him become a more used squad member, especially with the new 7 subs on the bench rule.

Graham Hunter was just on Newstalk a few minutes ago, mentioned that Keane and Carragher are kind of mates. Keane would love to play for Liverpool, wouldn't hand in a request but wants to know if Liverpool put in any offer and wants the move if possible. Spurs would like Crouch, Liverpool know that there are a few clubs in for him and therefore this could be a runner.

Best bit was how she described the chants. 'Questioning the integrity and the parentage of the american owners' Get in there :cool as ***** smilie:

It's all gone a bit Lord of the Flies in here on Kaizer. I think I know where he's coming from, just not sure if the point is coming across properly (not that I can do better), but if Riise is so s*** then why have the following things been happening: 1. Gerrard passing him the ball on a regular basis both in attack and in defense (don't forget the frees either). We can all remember what happened with other left sided players who had lost the immediate confidence of the captain. 2. Rafa picking him regularly in that position. Also, the players that have been mentioned as potential additions to the squad, not too many of them have been strict left backs either. The point about Riise looking good but it's only Bolton and Davies he's up against. Who were they playing last week and who was Davies tormenting, why yes, it was united and Evra, the very player people(myself included, probably ) wanted to replace Riise a few years ago. Riise is also one of the few players who have come out and spoken through the press about how badly he has been playing lately, clearly loves everything about Liverpool. Unfortunately he has become a figure of derision and I'm not sure whether he will ever regain the complete trust of the fans, but he's definitely owed more than the muck that has been slung at him over the last 18 months. Great game today, great result. Also, we should let megson know that Bolton are already a very much hated team.
-
Was he, oh well, it sounds like the sort of thing he would come up with as a serious issue. Definite successor for Moyes in the making.
-
He is such a s***bag, I know that will be taken out, but the sentiment is there. His latest moronic soundbit is that there should be a restriction on the value of the subs that teams are allowed to bring on. That has got to be one of the most stupid thing I have ever read on any part of the interweb, to think this guy is being paid a substantial 6 figure sum.

try downloading vlc, it's free and you should have no problems

Well, appears to have come through ok, here
