  1. DH, is the news you've heard but can't tell good or bad for us?
  2. I was hoping for face to face talks with Roy, maybe take him down to see the ducks or something and gently let him know that he's no longer required.
  3. Me too, maybe it's just being cautious but I would like to know who the mysterious Asian investor was. Some Singaporean billionaire?, that could've been excellent for us but maybe we'll never know now.
  4. I only started following him recently on Twitter, self important a*** is what he is. Did Broughton not say that GG's lawyer was at one of the board meetings?, why would he be there if Mill had taken control?
  5. That's kind of what I'm asking, I would imagine he can litigate on any number of fiduciary issues around where the boards loyalties should lie etc.
  6. So how ugly do we think this legal process will get? Tom's not exactly a wallflower and I can't see him taking this on the chin, even if he loses the initial ruling/case next week.
  7. Shirley the IPO would have constraints that says the funds can't be used to prop up the hateful c**ts other businesses?
  8. Was it 60m each they put in for debt reduction?, or 60m between them? Trying to work out why the figure is 144m
  9. They're actually losing £144m
  10. For all that's good and holy in this world there better be.
  11. The 300M stated as the price doesn't actually mean that they need to hand over £300M does it? They only need to hand over £200M to RBS and guarantee the other stadium/working capital debt which makes up the other £100M. Was the £60M stadium debt even drawn down?, I thought that was just a facility.
  12. Best thing in that BBC interview is the way he casually states that G&H have to write off about £140M I feel like dancing to that news.
  13. Of course it is but that's not what I'm talking about. I saying that this £300M had to come from somewhere, most likely debt and we will be paying the interest/repayments from our profits even if it is not secured against the club.
  14. Groups like this don't typically have £300M cash down the back of the sofa. So that means debt somewhere along the line and while RB says this is not on the club we will be responsible for the interest payments through our profits.
  15. I actually think it's someone inside the club briefing them.
  16. So if Broughton resigns that changes the voting structure of the board, should we be worried about that? is it another sign that something game changing has happened.
  17. You better all sit down, Kirdi has pulled out. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-10-05/canadian-group-shelves-plan-to-purchase-liverpool-over-valuation-debts.html

    Poulsen

Horrified to see the second goal today, ball was played from where he should be as our supposed defensive shield and he was jogging back from the touchline. He can f**k off with that kind of attitude, he's sh*t but the least he could do is try.
  19. This is more important than ever, I don't think Roy will get the boot until the ownership situation is resolved and getting rid of the old fool is critical. New owners, new manager and hope that we can turn the damage around quickly.
  20. On the days that we beat them we were yes.
  21. Ha!, knew there would be one. Nice of you to pick some of the most exceptional results of a 5 year period to back up your argument. I reckon Rafa was inherently cautious, especially against the smaller teams in the league when we should have been going for the throat. Basically I think those results were because we were clearly the better team and if anything I think the list of big victories like that should be longer. There was too many draws in key league matches and Rafa's caution has to be a factor there. I'd still have him back mind.
  22. I'd like a manager who plays attacking football. The last 3 have been cautious in their overall outlook, says a lot when Rafa was the most progressive of the three. I'm not looking for Kevin Keegan like lunacy, just a return to us being the dominant attacking force.
  23. Can't teach an old dog new tricks unfortunately.
  24. If your that sure there's a fair bit of money to be made as Sunderland are 15/2 to win.
  25. Question. If someone buys the club from RBS after they take over for the sum total of the bank debt ( 237M plus penalties), what will happen to the debt to the holding company which covers the money that G&H put in themselves. I assume that the club would still owe this?, if they are owed can they then force administration? I guess what I'm saying is boohog can you tell me the answer?
