Aye - he's barely a footballer. If we needed a crap striker though I am sure we could have found a more local one - seems a lot of hassle bringing someone over from Holland to make up the numbers
Theres a similar thread to this on TLW. I can copy Rashid's posts in if you want. There's a fair bit of repetition though so it might push it through the 100 page barrier
That depends entirely on your definition of "better" If it means better than a asthmatic 80 year old waiting for a triple bypass operation, then yes, he did play better.
1. Kuyt 2. Gerrard 3. Lucas Anyone who doesn't give kuyt number 1 is a simpleton He may not have done that much generally, but imagine the pressure involved in scoring two pens away to them....he could have sat on the 18 yard line on his a*** for 88 minutes for all I care. Score 2 pens to win the game away against them, and you are MOM
Maybe, but there was no indication today of any improvement. I can understand it in a home game against a bunch of no marks, but away to them, its not a reason for leaving on a player whose contribution is very limited
I love Momo, but he's got a monkey on his back at the moment. Hopefully, he gain regain his confidence, but if not it might be that he has to go elsewhere for a fresh start
Agree with the second part I would have taken Momo off though - Gerrard was a threat - Momo is playing like a man who is terrified of the ball. His confidence is shot and he probably needs a few games against some s***e teams to get it back.
He pretty much did until they went down to 10. Not sure why you feel the need to denigrate his performance by highlighting the header, especially since Voronin (who I like) made a few very very strange decisions today.
