  1. Whereabouts is that mate?
  2. Is there anywhere in particular where people are meeting up? Don't say The Millennium Stadium...
  3. Spot on that one mate. I am target audience though...
  4. Nightmare. We scored three goals that day, all from well outside the box. Might have to put my 101 Liverpool Goals DVD on tonight. Was already planning on watching Michael's two from Cardiff again to get me in the mood for Saturday.
  5. I remember his great goal against Leeds at home when even the ref applauded. Danny's goal in that game was pretty good too.

How do you know you were successful in the ballot mate? Didn't you say yesterday you'd been unsuccessful? I spoke to the ticket office and they said that the absence of a letter at this stage did not mean you definitely had a ticket. I'm choosing to believe that as otherwise I may go crazy. Can't bring myself to buy off a tout. If it wasn't for those b******s, its unlikely the robbery would ever have happened.
  7. Have you not managed to get a final ticket Tetti?
  8. I was in the ballot and haven't received a letter saying I was unsuccessful. Looks like I might have been one of the lucky ones. I;m properly gutted but I can't argue with the decision to replace the stolen tickets.
  9. I agree. Even though I'm waiting in the ballot, it would clearly be the right thing to give those seats to those people whose tickets were stolen. It'd be nice if they'd let us know though.
  10. Mine probably will too. But if some people have been unsuccessful then others have been successful and might still get their tickets. The woman at the ticket office told me that they'd not yet decided what was happening. Suggests to me that the ballot has been done but those people that are successful haven't been told because the decision hasn't been taken whether to give those tickets to them or those with stolen tickets. Naturally the people who's tickets were stolen really should get them but if they don't know which tickets were stolen then they can't do that. Regarding the train, if I should be so lucky as to get a ticket I'm just going to go to Paddington early, get a seat and stand all the way if necessary.
  11. How did you know you've been unsuccessful in the ballot? Did you get a letter?
  12. I'd really just like to know one way or another. Starting to worry if I'll be able to sort out a train from London to Cardiff.
  13. Just spoke to the ticket office and they said a final decision is being taken tomorrow re the ballot. Some letters have been sent out saying that people have been unsuccessful in the ballot but if you've not received one of those then you still have a chance. The letter might arrive tomorrow though. It would appear that the club are yet to decide whether to give the remaining tickets to the ballot people or those with stolen tickets. The latter would seem the sensible option but I guess if they don't know whose tickets are stolen then that would be problematic. I asked about how they would get tickets to people in time and they said that a system would be put in place so I guess that means collection at the ground. That's if that isn't too much of a safety concern Mr Sargeant, you prick.
  14. I'll be watching it somewhere in London.
  15. I'm worried that I'm not more worried.
  16. No chance of that.
  17. Just the worry that too many people will get in. Two people for each of those 1600 tickets. But that can be the only concern and that makes a mockery of their continued assertion that no one with a stolen ticket will get in. I really think text message tickets is the way of the future.
  18. I agree entirely. The first thing they did should have been to replace the stolen tickets and then worried about how to deal with it after.
  19. Looking that way. Would be nice if they'd confirm that with a short message on the official site so we could all stop waiting though.
  20. Just in time to do the new born baby celebration then! Hope all goes well. Think this is what he meant? STEVIE: NOTHING WILL DISTRACT US FROM FINAL Mark Platt 09 May 2006 Steven Gerrard insists he and his team-mates won't be distracted by off-field activities in the days leading up to Saturday's FA Cup Final against West Ham in Cardiff. New suits, ticket hassles and countless media interviews are as much part of Cup Final tradition as the pre-match singing of 'Abide With Me'. Gerrard has it all to contend with this week but admits it's no big deal and is keen to stress that preparing for the game is the most important thing on his mind. "Getting measured for suits and being constantly asked for tickets is all part and parcel of being in the FA Cup Final," the Reds skipper told Liverpoolfc.tv. "I've had people on from school who I haven't spoken to for ten years and they're not just asking for one ticket ? they're after four or five! "Sorting everyone out with tickets is an impossible job so I've just changed my mobile phone number! As for the suits I'm not really bothered what the suits look like ? so long as they're not cream! "There a lot of things going on in the week leading up to the game, such as media days and that, but as a player that stuff is not important. What's most important for us as individuals is getting ourselves right so that we're ready for the game on Saturday. "As captain it's my responsibility to help the boys as much as I can during this time. We've experienced the FA Cup Final build-up before, in 2001, and we've just got to take this experience into Saturday's final. "It's a bit different this time because West Ham are the underdogs. We'll give them a load of respect but we are going there to do the job." http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N...060509-0932.htm
  21. If that's the case, I can't imagine there will be a need for a ballot.
  22. Does anyone know if this is true then? Are the ballot phone calls today?
  23. Owen please.
