Maybe to an extent, really not in a position to comment on that. However what was very noticable today from the off was the unwillingness to take Arsenal on, go at them and try to score. It was half hearted attacks, snail pace build up and commit 1-2 people forward to try and score. This isn't the Arsenal of a few years ago that would cut ye up passing at break neck speed. They are good but not that good. We won the European Cup recently and have designs on a league win. To look at the whole approach and the way we play .. it just doesn't fit. There are plenty of posts today about it. The lack of pass and move. Utd aren't really good at all , yet they rip teams up.. play without fear , have confidence in their abilities.I don't think they are anywhere near as good as this Liverpool team.

The noticable thing about Zenden since he has been here, and I've called him out on it time again, is his anonymity.Doing one half decent thing and then disappearing into a f***ing hole doesn't make him 'a very good squad player'. Like I said Alonso and Crouch were the only ones putting themselves about and getting at Arsenal. I was astonished to see a complete lack of tackle anywhere in the team, particularly on our left it was evident. Riise and Gonzalez were the kings of stand off. The game plan that team went out with was garbage, its no secret how to play against Arsenal and today was an utter failure.
