  1. We're in good form, our performance levels should be right up for this - giving us every chance of a result. That's all you can ask for
  2. Allen for Sterling is the correct call. What an option from the bench as the game opens up in the second half.
  3. Not this again :yawn:/> :banghead:/> :banghead:/>
  4. Been watching all three games with some strategic channel hopping - all three have been seriously poor, especially Chelsea.
  5. This

  7. As an OOT,I support liverpool, I am fascinated by everything to do with the club, I've been to the city countless times, I've always enjoyed my time there - do I love the city of Liverpool? Ridiculous question really, people only get that sense of 'Love' for their place of birth. I always find that whole humour/whit thing a little over played, no doubt your average scouser is above the average on that score but every time I go there it seems every one is trying to play the part. Also, it has to be said the anfield area is not the best and definitely leaves a negative impression on Match goers
  8. Not sure where to post this but united are shockingly bad
  9. Likely we'll have a 10 day run in to this game as the city game on the 22nd will be postponed if (when) they beat wigan in the quarters of the cup
  10. United winning the champs league is probably now the biggest threat to qualification - unlikely but we know better than most about unlikely wins. With that in mind, we should stop all talk of 4th, we have to catch at least 1 of the 3 above us, arsenal being the most achievable given their run in and our goal diff
  11. BR confirmed Agger substitution was to get a bit of muscle on to deal with Bony
  12. Attack attack attack
  13. Back training, should be in the squad for next week. This is a fantastic wake up call, could have drawn today and we'd be having the same discussion - great for Rodgers. Agger just won't do anymore, he was constantly trying to knick the ball and opened up the heart of the defence. No point in doing that unless your defensive midfielder is near and can stop the striker turning - Bony just rolled off Agger all day...
  14. It's all falling in to place! Need Sahko back fit
  15. Henderson has to sit but then we invite them on to us...
  16. Big game, we're pretty much at full strength, it's all falling in to place!
  17. Go for it if you feel that strongly about it
  18. All I said was everton were hanging on (they were) and Chelsea are a team if individuals (they are) - it is all falling in to place
  19. It's all falling in to place - everton hanging on for a draw at the bridge. Chelsea really look like a team of individuals
  20. Looking at each of the run-ins of the teams currently in the top 7, I think a good gauge of the respective run-ins is to look at the games that each of the clubs have against the other teams in the top 7. Everyone has 4 games bar united and spurs. Obviously city have the toughest run in with 4 aways against teams in the top seven, followed by Arsenal. We have the same as Chelsea and Everton but it does show the huge importance in beating spurs on March 30th to ensure at least 4th. Team Top 7 Home Away Chelsea 4 3 1 Arsenal 4 1 3 City 4 0 4 Liverpool 4 3 1 Spurs 3 1 2 Everton 4 3 1 United 3 2 1
  21. We should be rivalling Chelsea and United for Luke Shaw, he looks a liverpool player, not some hasbeen on a free - top table signings from here on!
  22. Currently we are third on the list of postponements for sunderland and will be fourth on the list for city. You'd have to assume priority goes in order of postponement and then schedule per available date
  23. I don't think its unrealistic to assume that city will beat wigan and play in the semi on the weekend of the 12th/13th. Meaning we will have 2 gap weekends and 2 midweek fixtures to squeeze in. Does anybody know if there are any rules relating to how games are rescheduled. City and Sunderland coincidentally have to reschedule their postponed pl game and also their league cup final weekend pl game. God forbid either of them draw a 1/4 or semi fa cup game. The last thing we need is to be playing sunday/tuesday or thursday/saturday games on the final week
  24. The 2 week gap before the united game is broken by friendly internationals on Wed 5th. RFH can give our players 90 v Denmark and there won't be any complaints. Luis can rest after his trip to Austria. Hopefully Coutinho will go to south Africa with brazil. Big positive that we'll be the only team at the top with that weekend off to allow players to properly recover and Not risk injury
  25. Defeat today means we'll have a 14 day lead in to the away at united. 2 games to play in a month (between now and then)
