I cant believe how bad we are in the transfer market - we overpaid for mediocre players last season and then move players on for a nominal fee or for free when they are surplus. I cant stand Daniel Levy but he is very good when it comes to transfers - £10m for VdV was excellent business and he holds out for decent fees for other players too. We seem to make it known we dont want players so other clubs can basically take the piss
