I'll be gutted to see Alonso go. He's my favourite player. I think he will be one of the very few that gets a better career after leaving us. We will regret this. This willl haunt us. He will be on the opposite half in CL, and he'll tear us a new one.

Can we please get past that Alonso/ Barry cockpulling, and unite in the " Barry is 85 -110% the player Alonso is". They're both great players, as is Johnson, and who's the best player depends on their roles and teams performances, wich at best is very hardto compare.

I'm not as gutted as I should be, I guess. Living on the border of a heart attack, that would be the scenario if we'd gotten through, is no good. The loss of Skrtel had an immense impact, he had Dawg in his pocket. -
Is right If Insua is such a massive, massive talent, why is it a year since his last appearance? Because Rafa thinks Riise is a better player, at least until recently.

Skrtel. He's a very skilled footballer, no hoofing, just accurate long balls. Alonso had a good game, Kuyt was immense, Gerrard was better than he usually is against Chelsea. I feel raped by the f***ers, and Riise was stooopid, but we'll come back!

this was in deed a painful two hours our midfield were demolished. Alonso struggeled at times, but Arsenal play pretty nice football, even masch wasn't his usual assured self

Alonso was dire today, I have to say.I'm not entirely disagreeing with Kaizer, IMO Alonso was one of the two, three best performers last year. But now, after his last injury, hehasn't been up for it.
