At Cardiff last year against Chelsea, when he scored the OG, our 'fans' were screaming and swearing at his bird and his Mum, calling him all sorts, making threats, pure f***ing nastiness. w*****s nearly made the Chelsea transfer happen. This is probably straying from the point, but to bring our 'hardcore' into it to try to justify something is bad. There is nothing from the club or the HFSG which says he cant speak to the NotW. It is a different paper.

Our fans were amazing at Stamford Bridge that night. I think the thing about it is, our fans generally like most others, BUT, when the occasion demands it, Liverpool fans can raise their game more than any other fans. On days like that it makes me realise the difference between us and them. The captain of LFC states this in his book. And, I am not sure if its in also, but players from Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U have also stated to him that they think our fans are the best around at creating an atmosphere.

I am not making out I am an expert, but I woul imagine an anyone but the Sun type stance would have been taken beforehand.
