I dont want a pure footalling side. Like I have alreasy said, Arsenal are brilliant to watch, but for me, Man United are a better side. They have the balance between what we have and what Arsenal have.

Last season they were vulnerable against physical sides, but this season I haven't seen much evidence of it yet.

In a 1 off situation, us against them, maybe, But their style will win more games against lesser teams than ours will.

In between all the swearing there is a good point in there, the one that if Rafa did go, whoever came in would then ship out all the staff that is here, loads of Spanish players to be dealt with, and am sure he would want time to bring staff and players of his choice in. This could possibly mean another 3/4 years of rebuilding. It is a tricky situation, lets just hope that Rafa can sort things out.

To be honest, yes, it is amazing. The gulf in ability between us and them was shocking. And I mean, shocking, they are miles away from us and come the end of the season, they will be closer to the Mancs than we are. I still think United are a better side though.

It was no coicidence that Mascherano was a lot better for 2 reasons, firstly, we were playing a lot of the game without the ball, which brought his qualities out, pressing, tackling, breaking things up. And, secondly, we played 3 centre mids, he is not at his best in a 4-4-2.

It felt like watching a championship team playing a very good premiership side, they were just so much better. The fluidity in their midfield is a joy to watch, Hleb was absolutely fantastic, he is a top player, 2 footed and clever.

I'm not. I am saying, while we do miss Agger and Alonso, even before they were injured we weren't playing that well. One game against Chelsea aside. Rafa has to take the responsibility for certain things, one of them being pattern of play, another being the team picked, and also the players bought. I agree that judgment should be left til May, but I am just saying that at the moment, I dont feel too optimistic about how things are panning out. That is as someone who has been to every game except the away Europeans.

Man United without Rooney and Ronaldo are obviosuly not as good as with them, but the point is, they are still a good side. They lost some points early on with both of them in the team as well. If anyone thinks we are as good as them, they are in my opinion, mental. With regards to buying widemen, it doesn't necessarily have to be a winger, just a clever wide man. I am sure Benayoun could do a similar job for us that Hleb does for Arsenal. At the end of the day, I am as biased as any Red, but in the comfort of a Liverpool forum, I am expressing my opinion that something is wrong. And, if anyone on here genuinely thinks we haven't got problems, then they are watching a different Liverpool than I am.
