I dont think it needs that much analysis. Gerrard is playing in the derby, the biggest match of his season at league level, is 1000% fired up and got frustrated and pissed off for 1 millisecond. It amazes me how even after how he played today, and he was in my opinion, outstanding, he still manages to illicit negativity from his own fans. Just appreciate days like today, we have just beat that shower of c****.

Kuyt played well today. Lescott was identified as a danger and he didn't get past the halfway line because of Dirk's contribution. I am not a big fan of him, but he puts the team ahead of himself and was really important to us today.

In fairness, Ince gave the captain a f***ing torrid time when he was a young lad here and he got on with things.

I have really tried to ignore your s****, but you go too far, you're a total bell end.

I think the problem is that when we play the Mancs, our players have this mindset that we are not as good as we actually are. With the exception of Torres and Mascherano, it looks to me like we play with an inferiority complex. We can play against Barca, Juventus, Inter, AC, all the top foreign teams and have no fear. Against Arsenal, Chelsea and particularly Man U we look slightly in awe. Maybe the players are watching Sky and reading papers etc... and it starts to filter through that we aren't as good as them. I dont know what it is, but it is infuriating watching Carra, Reina, Gerrard and Alonso go into their shells at Old Trafford! When the top 3 play each other, I genuinely think either side could win, but when we are playing them, I always fear the worst, and until we start changing that attitude deep down we will not win the league.
