you know, after the fiasco with us and spurs regarding cisse/defoe and spurs coming out to say defoe is not for sale, i am very surprised to hear that defoe is actually being sold to us. that would make spurs look bad, no? defoe is quality but the quoted 9m price tag does sounds a little high to me.

really? i thought he didnt play too well today, benayoun kept turning him inside out. he got better as the game went though.

admittedly, i think only 3 times. twice for AM this season and once for the national team. in those games, he contributed to the build up play quite bit, so thats where i got my impression of him from. is he the kind who thrives on balls played over the top?

having said all that, i think cisse's departure is going to be heavily dependent on who comes in. if its someone like defoe, bent, owen or saviola, he will probably go. if its someone like kuyt or torres, i think moro's days are numbered. i have more faith in cisse coming good than moro though, just because cisse has youth and time on his side. on the other hand, i can never imagine cisse providing an assist like moro did to fowler's goal on sunday. what a dilemma...

maybe its fate...they should have lost that game last week against bolton, they got away with a blantant penalty and nakata(?) hitting the crossbar. i guess things even out in the end.

I think so too. The "cisse's goals are not counted because he scored against crap opposition" reason is laughable. To me, its just the reason why we should still keep him for at least another season. Whoever our first choice strikers are going to be, they cant be playing every single match. Also, I doubt we can get back much back if we tried selling him....
