In my view we don't have a real striker problem, especially if a few more were fit. What we desperately need though is pacey wide forwards who can occasionally put the ball in the back of the net and compliment either Benteke or Firmino in the #9 role. Currently we have no players who meet this profile. There are better players than Long but at least he sas the attributes of what we need.

Think his overall contribution in last few games has been really good although not getting goals but none are. Played more than he should due to the injuries. Great squad player and yes, a great squaddie might cost 25m nowadays. Elite player is 40-50m and with ADM, Mangala, otamendi as example is no guarantee for success.

Why on earth would we buy Berahino when we could get Volland for less money
