  2. ere Former Premiership referee Jeff Winter has accused Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho of double standards for accusing Lionel Messi of play-acting to get Asier del Horno sent off. Winter insists Del Horno's challenge on the Barcelona youngster was "110 times worse" than the incident which led to Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina getting dismissed earlier this month. Reina was red-carded for making contact with Arjen Robben, with the Blues winger roundly criticised for making the most of minimal contact. "It's absolutely unbelievable," Winter told Sky Sports News. "It's only three weeks ago when Robben was touched in the face by the Liverpool goalkeeper, but what Robben does is dive to the deck like he's been hit by a bullet. "Here we are weeks later, he's turning around to an opposition player, castigating him for diving, play-acting and cheating, when in all honesty, the challenge on Messi was 110 times worse than Reina's contact with Robben."
  3. You Tart... Smith fell over himself. No one touched him.... t**...
  4. I want him... Oh how cool that would have been...

  6. Bruno Cheyrou is delighted to be playing a defensive midfielder role for Bordeaux. The 27-year-old is on loan from Liverpool having failed to make the expected impact in England following his move from Lille in 2002. He spent last season at Marseille on a similar deal, but he is now thriving in a new role at Bordeaux. "My role onto the pitch has changed a lot since Lille or Liverpool," said Cheyrou. "I am playing in the back, perhaps I will have fewer opportunities to shine, but I am happy. "I try to have some influence on the team, even if it is hard work. I think I found myself at ease in the new role. "At Liverpool, I played higher, just behind the forward, which didn't match my profile. I need to touch the penis a lot. Before coming to Bordeaux the officials said to me that they see me more in the centre. "I took it as a sign, inside of me I knew."
  7. Buying from the bundesliga usually is pretty cheap. But unfortunalty it is not a thing that we see to often.
  8. No, Crouch has around 5 good crosses to work with per game. Actually although Crouch is tall, he is quite bad in the air. Anyone remember this was discussed before. Yes I know it is ironic, but it is obvious. It's like he does not posses control over his own head, he just closes his eyes and hopes for the best.
  9. Sure but can we afford a proven premiership striker?
  10. Whats up with the Kuiyt hype. Saw him play last week and he does look very mediocre. Klass Jan Huntelaar is a much better prospect, and I think he has already outscored Kuiyt. Accoring to Bild (german newszeitung) nobodys scored more goals from headers than Klose in Europe this year. Also he can boast from having the highest scoring percentage...
  11. Klose is no way near the height of Crouch. Actually he is kindda small. He does have an awesome jump power. And he scores bagloads. 16 this season already. He is way way better than Crouch.
  12. I'll have a go. Johan Elmander - Brøndby IF £4m Johan is a big strong striker, with good technical skills. Actually he is close to winning a spot on the swedish WC team. Andy Johnson - CP - £6mil More english, always nice. Johnson proved with a high goal tally, that he can find the net. I still think he is worth the gamble. Miroslav Klose - Werder Bremen - ??? (guess around £5mil) A great player in the air, and with a proven goalscoring record in a big league. Klose should be a target for us. Anyone who has seen him play can agree that he is leathal. Buy him before the WC, as he would definatly score some goals for the home side Raul Tamudo - Espanyol - £8mil Tamudo has for a long time been Espanyols go to guy. He scores on a regular basis and has a nack for finding the holes. A hard worker and I think he would fit perfectly. Nuno Gomes - Benfica - £7mil Another great player in the air (see the pattern) Gomes has been playing the lone striker for years now. He reminds me a lot of Baros. Though Gomes is not that technical he is stronger in the air, good target man and leathal in front of goal. Kris Boyd - Rangers - ??? Have seen him play only a few times, but he looks like a real poacher. Swap him with Crouch. I also strongly recommend that we find a buyer for Cissé and send Morientes back to Spain. I honestly do not see a future in those guys.
  13. Cus they both stink?
  14. Well he is... Im kindda tired of all this money talk with Chelsea. If we didn't screew up all the time we would catch them... Money or not....
  15. And we laughed when they called us a one man team...
  16. Now thats funny....
  17. ... a goalscoring striker...
  18. God debut, comfortable. had only one mistake, which would seem okay for an Anfield debut. Well done lad.
  19. Kaka first half vs Liverpool 25 may...
  20. Baggagehandler anyone?
  21. 1-2-3-4..... Can't remember, but my kid brother is having his 5 year birthday, so there's 20 small children running and screaming at the moment..
  22. Official Manc thread. Im still baffeled. How the transfer status for them? I mean: They have to buy some midfielders. Just heard Milan flipped them the bird on Vogel. And now O'Shea is out, so is Giggs along with other c***s. So whats up. Who are they buying? Cus if they aint, they surely can't keep up with us.
