  1. Since I'm not old enough to remember all the fun you old gits had back in the days. I can proclaim 2005 to be the best year in my 14 year long career as a dedicated Liverpool-fanatic. Although it started with a loss home to the chavs, last year was certainly one for the books. That amazing Champions League run. That goal Luis scored which was never over the line according to a special one. Igor among others revival. That night in May. Again. Remember all the lads assembled at the Billabong Bar. 8 hours before kick-off. Having a blast. But already through first half. We were all shattered. Only for us to reclaim that infamous trophy that was once ours, and is now ours to keep. The transfer saga about Gerrard. Remember? For about 24 hours, he was the single most hated person on Merseyside. The emergence of the great Peter Crouch. Being blessed enough to see maybe the worlds single most intelligent manager transform the same group of players from mediocre status into stars. Then on to a blistering winning streak, which still hasn?t been broken. Yes it had its ups and downs but 2005 was amazing. Thank You Liverpool F.C. For a great year. May there be more to come. Aye aye And Rafa Sign Agger.
  2. No offense but I just can't imagine Frank in a Barca shirt...
  3. "I look around our dressing room and see the will to win in people's eyes," Gerrard told The Sun. what Steven Gerrard claims Liverpool are ready to hunt down Chelsea in the Premiership title race. The Reds' victory over Newcastle on Boxing Day extended their winning run in The Premiership to eight and Gerrard claims the Anfield dressing room is looking to secure silverware. Liverpool still sit 15 points adrift of Chelsea and their mettle will be tested on Wednesday as they tackle Everton in the Merseyside derby, but Gerrard is convinced the players have the mindset to challenge for glory. "I look around our dressing room and see the will to win in people's eyes," Gerrard told The Sun. "Hopefully we'll be delivering a trophy and getting involved in the title race. We want to be in there at the death. "We have got a gang of hungry players. Everyone wants more medals - and lots of them! "Look at the table and we're tucked in there behind Chelsea and right on Manchester United's shoulder. "We know that we can surprise a few people with where we finish in the league this year. We won't be surprising ourselves though. "We are all confident that this season can be a success."
  4. Sorry, your right it was Finnan... Still ace though...
  5. Have a very good version of it on the PC...
  6. Still he left for madrid instead of resigning with us... Thats just forgiven or what?
  7. In all fairness, Owen scored a bagload in a Liverpool team designed to give him the ball ALL the time. He wouldn't last a second in our new style of play. Maybe on the right flank, but if we had him in the center, our offense would break every possesion just like it did before... Back to counter attacking with long balls down the ground to Owen. No thank you.. Rather have Crouchy, he is scoring now as well..
  8. Best performance from the skipper in a long time. He belongs in the free center role. Passing was awesome, and his runs was pure class. It's also more easy for him to fight for the team with him in the center, winning more balls. Albeit we need some quick tricky winger on the right and this team is perfect. January is going to be my favorite month. About the bust up. How nice to see that the team even fights as a unity. While Crouch was pushing, Carra stuck out his leg for Bowyer to trip. And Stevie going mad.. Pure Class. t*** he is Bowyer. Nice to see him sent off. Glad Alonso is alright.
  9. Have a friend who is going to live there the next 6 months... Anyone know to to get live feeds from England. Guess Sky doesn't cover downunder?

  14. OMFG! Posts merged: Bet you it was... That man is awesome..
  15. HELLO???? If Rafa didn't sell him he would have moved on a bosman, Owen refused to sign a contract that he had been offered in the last 18 months before he signed with Real...
  16. i dont want us to sign him for more than we sold him. I don't see how he can "save" us. We won the frekin CL without him. If he moves to newcastle, so be it, I won't support him... If Noclasstle offered 18 mio we wont sign him. Im just trying to get over it... Lets sign Agger and Kujt...
  17. He wouldn't get any service, he wouldn't fight for hte championship or top 4, he wouldnt get as much attention as us. He would play for the Barcodes...
  18. I'd love Mickey for the Barcodes, it would just emphasise how greedy he is... Remember the Owen everyone is raving about now is not the same little golden boy we used to love. If we get him we should not pay a penny more than we sold him for, and if that is not possible then let him go elsewhere... Could you imagine how f***ed Mickey carrer would be playing for Souness in Newcastle haha, say bye to your WC spot...
