Seeing both here and other places that people slate Agger by his performance last night. Honestly, the man played some good games, still young. Smashes his hand and gets injured. Gets replaced by Sami, who honestly plays some poor games, and yesterday Agger was back. Yes his distribution was poor, and yes we've come to expect more from him, but he was out for a month and then is thrown out in a tough away game for a side, according to Alonso that right now has a pessimistic tone in the dressing room. SkySports gave Agger an eight, and he is statistically our best player, so I don't see why he should be dropped. I will get slated for saying this, but the Premiership is far far far away, and there is no future in Sami. Next year it will be Agger and Carragher, so why wait with giving Agger the spot to keep? And yes I am biased...

Ill be stupid to sign him. In Agger we have the worlds best young defender. Why replace him?

Think Alonso is doing fine. He is really grown with the responsibilty of breaking up the opponents play. Still feel that it is more down to his teammates to get free for his passes, more than him not playing the odd 60 yards perfect pass anymore.

Zenden is a fairly average player. But let's say he didn't play for us, I doubt any other of the Premiership challenging team would hire him. He might be Player of the year for a midtable Boro team, but I seriously recommend offloading him in January. I guess he was the replacement for Hamann's fourth midfield player role, but he does not offer anything to the squad. I still can't see what his strenghts are. So I'm thinking that we should get some younger talent in at that position. Denmark as an example has plenty of bright talent at that spot, (for the danes) Thygesen, Wurtz, Leon A, just to name a few options. At least playing for Barca, he was a pacey left winger, now he is a ...?!!?!?!?!?

Agger in the defense gives us another ball playing possibility. And gives Gerrard freedom to roam. Pennant will be alright, given a good run. Crouch for the link up play, and Aurelio, although not best at defending has sublime ball control and crossing ability. This is my team...

Why, we played a s**** game. Our captain is non-existent. Zenden, Bellamy, Pennant and Hyppiä are not good enough to play for a team with title aspirations. And oh, we haven't scored more than one goal away from home, and we are in November. Why is it s**** to be negative?
