  1. It’s been quite some time since you last had a go at me so I’m assuming whatever I said to stop it has had a positive effect on our relationship. Some may even call it growth. I like it better this way.
  2. Well I don’t think it’s bulls***. And for what it’s worth I don’t appreciate spending time on these personal stabs. It’s of no interest to me.
  3. I want them to force Abu Dhabi to sell. Then strip City of all titles. Drop them down a league or two. If new owners can do something within the rules they are welcome. After that they should force the Saudis to sell and from there make a rule that says that countries can’t own PL clubs. If that’s not possible I want us to join a new league where countries can’t own clubs. If that’s not possible I want every team to be owned by countries.
  4. I feel like you are twisting my words. This is how I experienced it. Generic poster said Ibou can’t play back to back games. I said that this statement lacks context and I add context. Generic poster says my context is nonsense. I write that I disagree and give my reasons. Then you enter and make fun of me.
  5. Also. He was only out for a total of 32 days last season according to transfermarkt, which can’t be much more than the rest of the lads. I haven’t compared numbers but that’s not a huge issue and fairly managable especially if we demote him to third CB choice, and allow him more time to rest between games, if Arne only trains him on small pitches and if we don’t tell him to cover two positions at the same time he should be more than fine. I’d much rather allocate the purse to the DM sized hole in our squad.
  6. Are you assuming I haven’t formed my opinion on what I believe to have seen before I present it? My analysis doesn’t change because someone says they think it’s wrong. I just added what I felt was much needed context. You must be stone cold not to find this hilarious
  7. Calling it ridiculous seems aggressive tbh. Two defenders. 20 years old. Almost equally good at defending. One is clearly the next big thing. Strong and injury free. Built like a greek God. 80 mil 300k/pw. Goes to Madrid, City or Paris. The other one equally good but injury prone. 30 mil 100k/pw. If he can stay fit he’s just as good as the other one and if he can’t then it’s a s***show Guess who FSG goes for. United did something completely different. They paid top money for an old player with no legs. Not really a comparable situation imo.
  8. Borini was gash. Allen was fun and nice but ultimately not remotely good enough.
  9. Maybe he’s still sore from visiting Bobby’s dentist?
  10. I mean I do see your point and I kinda agree to an extent but I also stand by mine. He could have been treated better. I thought playing him in that second half in Prague was madness. I remember we had a huge argument here at the time because everyone disagreed. But, obviously we lost him at a highly inconvenient part of the season and it could easily have been avoided. Feels harsh putting it on him. We didn’t manage him well enough imo. For me he’s now the perfect third choice CB. Great for squad depth and we don’t need to go to market to replace him now with other more pressing matters. (DM!) Assuming we still work under financial limitations. I think we won’t see a new CB unless Joe or Ibou leaves. I think they are happy with those four. Yank b*****ds.
  11. This is the money ball part innit. Fit Ibou would have been too expensive for us. We gamble on keeping him fit but also get a discount rate because everyone knew he was more susceptible to muscle injuries. Knowing all this it doesn’t help him giving him two positions to cover and keeping the highest line possible.
  12. So is this. That’s where Q comes into the picture. Make Q the primary Virg partner and you keep Ibou fresh for rotational purposes. Add Joey G to the mix and you’ve got a banging CB group. I see your point and it makes sense except with Q in there it forces people around him to be a bit more responsible since Q’s just a kid an all. With Ibou there everyone goes “oh well Ibou can sprint back. Imma stay here and wait for the ball to come back to my feet”.
  13. I disagree. Just look at the games. Ibou engages in more battles than anyone else. He has to cover two defensive positions. He may be more prone to injuries than others but it doesn’t help him that he’s so exposed constantly. Having a real RB by his side would take a huge load off his responsibilities and would surely make him more available, less injured and more solid.
  14. I think that points misses some context. Ibou is the one engaging in most battles so naturally he will get more injured. He basically has to cover CB and RB because Trent doesn’t want to and all this coupled with the highest of defensive lines means he has to battle their main striker and sprint to cover their fast winger. I think it’s only natural that he breaks down. We need our RB to be a RB before we conclude anything meaningful about Ibou. Absolutely. He’s low key becoming a huge asset. His passing game is sublime for a CB. Scores goals and makes assists. Has that Matip run in him. I think he would be 60-80 mil easy if he was playing for Brighton and Chelsea or Arsenal wanted to buy him. 21 years old. In the England squad. 33 games for a top three team already. That’s at least 60 mil in this market.
  15. Come on guys. Exactly. Why should City have a monopoly on terror funding? Why can’t we visit Rwanda? We can fund terror much better than them.
  16. No I really don’t. Young players these days are extremely well prepared for the jump to senior football. Quansah is 21 years old. He’s older than Jude Bellingham. He played in 33 games last season/the one that just finished. There’s no reason to expect him having a rough patch more than anyone else in the squad. And there’s no reason not to count on him going forward in my opinion.
  17. Yeah I agree too. Would be nice to have extra cover for every position. I just don’t see FSG carrying five senior CB’s. Have they ever?
  18. I don’t agree with it. We didn’t hold Trent back did we? Turned out fine. Why should we hold Q back if he’s good enough. I really don’t see the logic in not using such a talented player.
  19. He’s more than capable imo. He’s already proven that. Sometimes you just got to let the kid go for it. I think he should be Virg’s primary partner.
  20. Unless Quansah is Matip 2.0 on the payroll. We do have four CB’s already.
  21. Just waiting on the hard drives lads. Club's been investing in solid state drives they say.
  22. He’s most likely self-combusting in a hotel room down by the dock. Arne’s got a gun. Arne’s got a gun. What did his daddy do? What did he put him through?
  23. I think it's a waiting game to gain maximum exposure. Chelsea will also have a media day for their new manager and then I imagine that the mancs are going to fire ETH the second we unveil Slot. Just like they put up a piece of their club for sale after we had started it. They can't stand having everyone talking about us. In other news I see Feyenoord are replacing Slot with Danish manager Brian Priske. Priske, whom you may know as the Sparta Prague manager who saw us put 11 goals past his side, is poised to take over within the week.
  24. Olise is going to the Olympics so he won't be available to play for his club until late August.
