    Arbeloa was poor I agree but I don't think finnan rated a very good and yes I did watch the match ableit on TV and not at the ground

    If you think he didnt put a foot wrong then its no point having this debate is there... (you did notice his sliced cross that went about 20 yds back up the pitch ? )

    Personally I think arbeloa was expertly nudged (Porto) /fouled (LFC) .. without that he would have made a very simple clearing header

    That reads like a hygiene factor for a full back and how you go from that to him having a 'great game' is where I struggle

    Playing good sides should not mean you pass straight to them.... they weren't interceptions they were s*** passes.... .. that's what is meant by playing poorly/nervous/edgy

    Andy A side that gave away possession needlessly regularly in a game cannot ever ever ever be described as excellent.... I lost count of the number of times we passed directly to the opposition, and a number were guilty of it... hyypia, Gerrard, Mascherano, are specific examples that are still horror images in my head and I am sure that's probably about 1/4 or less.....

    I don't think he had a 'great game'.... struggling to recall too much good/bad. Porto in first half were looking to use their left as their outlet and/or to isolate him in the way many a team would fire crossfield balls to the right when Riise is at LB... his miskick cross with his left that ended up as a cross field pass was of good comedy value though

    That is abundantly clear, he looked very relaxed when on the ball and am sure its because he's pain free which he clearly wasnt in his last cup final appearance
