    The thing for me is they didn’t even act upon it, probably because it was a certain red card if they do. This is the problem with VAR, it’s biased because the people behind it are. It was blatant but the severity of the situation colours the decision, meaning it can’t be used in an objective way (other than offsides).

    Don’t think we can really judge him on this game. It’s against his former club, first time at Anfield. Think the occasion really got to him, he’s only 21 after all.

    Amazing debut, think he really adds something the team has been lacking. His hold up play and deft touches are really really good. Great run into space to receive the ball for Gakpo’s goal, makes that goal for me by creating a vacuum for their defence.
